Eindelijk is het zover....Wij hebben aan de IEV Reunie in Surabaya ook een reis gekoppeld die ons brengt naar Medan (Lake Toba)-Malang-Surabaya-Den Pasar.
Deze reis is een individuele reis die we samen met vrienden ondernemen. Met andere woorden wij gaan natuurlijk samen op weg maar iedereen moet zichzelf Reisverzekeren als men al niet verzekerd is en verder natuurlijk zelf zorgen voor zakgeld, vaccinaties e.d.

IEV Reunion Program 2012
(22 Days Amsterdam–Medan–Malang–Surabaya–Den Pasar-Amsterdam)

DAY 1 : ARRIVAL MEDAN from Amsterdam on 20 February 2012
Arrive at Polonia International Airport Medan, greeting service with Tour Guide. Transfer to Hotel and Dinner at Nelayan Restaurant

DAY 2:  MEDAN
Around lunchtime 13.00 uur lunch at local Restaurant and then visit some touristic venues. Dinner at local Restaurant (Jalan Semarang)
You will have a chance to visit Maimoon Palace, the palace of the Sultan of Deli, which was built in 1888.     Visit WoodGallery  and Velangkany Church .You will have a chance to visit , Grand Mosque ,  Vihara Gunung Timur Chinese temple , Sri Mariaman Hindu’s temple ,  Dinner at local restaurant.Enjoy the warm atmosphere of Merdeka Walk , City Hall , Post Office  at your own leisure , Transfer to Hotel for overnight

DAY 3 : MEDAN – PARAPAT
Depart for Parapat Lake Toba, On the way stop at Patent Shop for buying local products such as: Teng Teng and Ting Ting.Stop at Woven Galery and Kwan Im temple Pematang Siantar.Lunch provided at Siantar Hotel PematangSiantar. Visit monkeys rehabilitation at Sibaganding. Arrive at Parapat transfer to Hotel, dinner at Hotel

DAY 4 : SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR
After breakfast at Hotel, cruise the Lake Toba for visiting Tomok Village to see the old grave stone of King Sidabutar, continued to visit Ambarita Village to see the old chairs stone and execution place made by King Siallagan many years ago .  Lunch provided at local restaurant.Visit Simanindo village to see Batak traditional dance. Back to Parapat. Dinner provided at Hotel .

DAY 5 : PARAPAT ––BERASTAGI
Breakfast at Hotel , depart for Berastagi . Enroute stop at Simarjarunjung to enjoy ginger tea and fried bananas (personal expenses). Visit Pematang Purba to see Long House of King Purba. Stop at Sipiso Piso waterfall to see this magnificent 110 metre tall waterfall and an extraordinary view of Lake Toba from the northern side of this crater lake.  Then on to Berastagi. Upon arrival at Berastagi check in to Hotel for accommodation. The afternoon will be spent enjoying the Hot Springs at Raja Berneh. Back to hotel, dinner at hotel.

DAY 6 : BERASTAGI – MEDAN
Breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Medan   and Visit Medan Mall. Afternoon check in to hotel for accommodation. Dinner at local restaurant or hotel.Enjoy the warm atmosphere of Merdeka Walk , City Hall , Post Office  at your own leisure , Transfer to Hotel for overnight

DAY 7: MEDAN FULL DAY
Breakfast at Hotel , enjoying your time in Medan. Visit Ahmad Yani street to see the old colonial building such as Chong Afie”s house , Tip Top restaurant , City hall and deboer building. Visit Rahmadsyah galery . Lunch at local restaurant.  . Afternoon back to hotel , dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 8 : MEDAN –DEPARTURE (27 February 2012)
Breakfast at hotel, then free and easy until transfer to airport for your next destination.

DAY 9 :  Surabaya – Malang (27 February 2012)
Arrival at Juanda Airport surabaya – . Transfer to hotel in Malang

DAY 10:  Malang
Malang sightseeing tours , visit Housing complex of the old Dutch colonial at Ijen Boulevard , next visit Alun-alun Kota Malang (Malang Central park), next visit Toko Oen (Oen Shop) which is known as the oldest restaurant with the strong Dutch influence in here and this restaurant still open in Malang City since 1930, afterward visit The oldest Cathedral church in Malang – check into Hotel in Malang  – lunch & dinner at local restaurant. 

DAY 11 : Malang – Batu – Malang
Today we will visit Batu City which is around 15 KM distance from Malang and this Batu city is at the mountain resort area with more pleasant weather. Visit The Apple & Orange Plantation at Kusuma Agro Wisata , next visit Cuban Rondo Waterfall , then continue to Batu Secret Zoo & Animal Museum at Jatim Park 2, afterward we will visit the Theme park at Batu Spectacular Night (BNS). Lunch & dinner at local restaurant. Back to Hotel

DAY 12  : Malang – Sempu island – Malang
How about today we visit one of the island south of Malang City ? around 6.00 AM transfer to Sendang Biru beach around 2,5 – 3 hours journey. Continue by local fisher boat for 15 minutes to Sempu Island , then trek through the rain forest jungle for about 2 -3 hours until you reach the Lagoon called Segara Anakan. The most exotic part of Sempu Island is its lagoon, Segara Anakan. It is like a lake with salty water where is bordered by high reef. The supply of the water is from ocean when the high wave bring it into the border reef. You can enjoy swimming withouth worry with current wave.  If you like snorkling, it also has beautiful underwater panorama. You can also enjoy the white sand by laying down or playing outdoor volley ball. All your tiredness will be paid well after you arrive at this lagoon. Lunch provided using Lunch Box. Afterward back to Hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 13 : Malang – Surabaya
Stop at Singosari to visit Candi Singosari and pass old colonial houses.
Today we will transfer back to Surabaya City & have city tour , visiting choices : Submarine Monument (a real submarine used in 1950 by Indonesia Navy), Heroes Monument & Museum of Ten November (Monument to Commemorate the brave of Surabaya people during the battle of 10 November 1945 againt the allied force) , Mosque & Tomb of Sunan Ampel  (one of the member of walisongo – the nine saints – who spread the moslem religion in Java at 14^th Century) and also we will have shopping for the traditional snacks of Indonesia at Pasar genteng – check in hotel in Surabaya. Lunch on the way to Surabaya & dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 14 : Surabaya
After breakfast free at your own leisure. .

DAY 15: Surabaya (4 March 2012)
After breakfast free at your own leisure we go to the IEV Reunion from 10.00 – 16.00 hours

DAY 16: Surabaya (5 March 2012)
After breakfast free at your own leisure.

DAY 17 : ARRIVAL DENPASAR  (6 March 2012)
Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai Airport, meeting service . After that transfer to Hotel in Kuta for Check In. Evening Dinner at Local Restaurant.

DAY 18 : Kuta
After breakfast free at your own leisure

DAY 19 :GWK & Kintamani
After breakfast visiting Garuda Wisnu Kencana Culture Park ( GWK ) and Kintamani Lunch at Local Restaurant. In Kintamani.  Dinner at local Restaurant.

DAY 20 : Kuta

DAY 21 :    Sightseeing choices
Free at your own leisure. Sightseeing alternatives: visiting Taman Ayun Temple at Mengwi Village, then continued to Visit Ulundanu Temple and Lake Beratan at Bedugul. Lunch at Local Restaurant in Bedugul area. After being lunch visiting Monkey forest and Tanah Lot Temple ( Floating temple), then back to Denpasar. Dinner at local Restaurant.

DAY 22 :  Departure to Amsterdam (11 March 2012)
After being breakfast at hotel, Free Program until the time transfer to airport.
